Hamilton County Has 1 More Coronavirus Death, 29 New Cases; Tennessee Has 6 More Deaths

Hamilton County had 29 new coronavirus cases reported Monday, bringing the total to 45,004. There has been one more death from the virus, as the total is now at 499 in the county. 

There are 35 patients hospitalized and 15 in Intensive Care Units. Four more are hospitalized with suspected cases of COVID. 

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 44,139, which is 98 percent, and there are 366 active cases. 

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 860,966 on Monday with 193 new cases. There have been six more deaths from the virus, for a total of 12,393 State Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 542 people hospitalized from the virus, which is 8 more than on Friday. 
Testing numbers are above 7.921 million across the state.

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 842,652, which is 98 percent.

Bradley County:  15,176 cases, up 10; 152 deaths

Grundy County: 1,794 cases, down 1; 35 deaths

Marion County: 3,145 cases, up 5; 47 deaths

Meigs County: 1,400 cases; 25 deaths

Polk County: 2,102 cases, up 2; 25 deaths

Rhea County: 4,374 cases, down 1; 75 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,731 cases, up 4; 29 deaths

Knox County: 51,386 cases, up 41; 639 deaths, up 1

Davidson County: 90,012 cases, up 72; 947 deaths, up 1

Shelby County: 97,295 cases, up 219; 1,656 deaths, up 5
