Hamilton County Has No New COVID Deaths, 39 More Cases; Tennessee Reports 10 More Deaths

Hamilton County had 39 new coronavirus cases on Friday, bringing the total to 44,468. There have been no more deaths from the virus, and the total is 494 in the county. 

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 43,418, which is 98 percent, and there are 556 active cases.

There are 43 patients hospitalized and 12 in Intensive Care Units. Of those hospitalized, 23 are county residents. 

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 852,841 on Friday with 769 new cases. There have been 10 more deaths from the virus, for a total of 12,255 State Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 770 people hospitalized from the virus, which is 33 fewer than on Thursday. 

Testing numbers are above 7.740 million across the state.

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 829,501, which is 97 percent.

Bradley County:  15,032 cases, up 22; 150 deaths, up 1

Grundy County: 1,793 cases, up 1; 34 deaths

Marion County: 3,123 cases, down 2; 47 deaths

Meigs County: 1,391 cases, up 3; 25 deaths

Polk County: 2,078 cases, up 2; 24 deaths

Rhea County: 4,348 cases, up 5; 75 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,698 cases, up 1; 29 deaths

Knox County: 50,675 cases, up 69; 635 deaths, up 1

Davidson County: 89,355 cases, up 38; 933 deaths

Shelby County: 95,656 cases, up 131; 1,619 deaths, up 3
