Hamilton County COVID Deaths Remain At 501; Tennessee Has 12,465 Deaths

Hamilton County had 27 new coronavirus cases reported Wednesday, bringing the total to 45,197. There have been no more deaths from the virus, and the total remains at 501 in the county.

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 44,406, which is 98 percent, and there are 290 active cases. 

There are 31 patients hospitalized and 13 in Intensive Care Units. Three more are hospitalized with suspected cases of COVID. There are eight Hamilton County inpatients. 

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 863,328 on Wednesday with 324 new cases. There have been nine more deaths from the virus, for a total of 12,465 State Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 450 people hospitalized from the virus, which is 29 fewer than on Tuesday. Testing numbers are above 7.992 million across the state.

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 846,635, which is 98 percent.

Bradley County:  15,199 cases, up 7; 153 deaths

Grundy County: 1,795 cases, up 3; 35 deaths

Marion County: 3,151 cases, up 1; 47 deaths

Meigs County: 1,408 cases, up 8; 25 deaths

Polk County: 2,106 cases, down 1; 25 deaths

Rhea County: 4,380 cases, up 2; 75 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,742 cases, up 4; 29 deaths

Knox County: 51,645 cases; 639 deaths

Davidson County: 90,150 cases, up 57; 951 deaths, up 2

Shelby County: 97,713 cases, up 137; 1,667 deaths, up 3
