A film starring Richard Grieco (21 Jumpstreet, Booker, If Looks Could Kill, etc) has wrapped production after filming in Northwest Georgia and Signal Mountain. The movie, Sanctus House, is based on the horror story by the same name written by local author, Kenyon T. Henry.
Review for Sanctus House:
The movie tells the story of four college students who visit a haunted house as research for a paper on urban myths and legends. When a caretaker named Amare, played by Mr. Grieco, offers to tell them the truth of the tragedy behind the stories, the students eagerly accept. When bad things happen, they quickly learn that something in the woods is preventing them from leaving. It's a fight to make it through the night as they realize the biggest danger is inside the house.
Mr. Henry wrote the screenplay and stars opposite Mr. Grieco. The students are played by Aden Pettet, Talon Dillard, Genna-Leigh Ivey and Liberty Knowles.
This is Mr. Henry's second production in the area, having filmed Country Rain last year, which is now available to stream. Some of the cast (and crew) can be found in both films, utilizing local area talent. Students from Dalton State College joined the crew and assisted during filming.
Mr. Henry and his wife formed Mighty Film Productions to make movies alongside JC Films, which has produced more than 200 movies. JC Films is a faith-based non-profit film studio.
