Baylor Earns 2-1 Region Win Over Knox Catholic

The Baylor boys soccer team hosted Knoxville Catholic in a region soccer match. Baylor's Antonio Basan scored two first half goals and the Red Raiders earned a 2-1 win. 

Basan's first goal was scored by Owen Bible.  His second goal was scored on a penalty kick. 

Knox Catholic scored their second half goal off an indirect kick. 
 
"I thought we played our best soccer all year long in the first 40 minutes," Baylor's Curtis Blair said. "We became complacent in the second half, and it caught up to us.

We are excited to win our first region match and have to prepare for another one on Thursday."
