Jenna Adkins
Jenna Lee Adkins, 84, was born on October 6, 1933, in Kenova, West Virginia. On January 29, 2018, after a six-month battle with cancer, Jenna entered heaven and is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was a member of Duncan Park Baptist Church.
Jenna was preceded in death by parents, Manville and Molly Dorsey; sisters, Ina and Freda; brothers, Eddie and Curt.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Emmett; daughters, Diane (Joe), Donna (Alan), son, David (Leanne); grandchildren, Josh (Diana), Kelly, Wade (Becca), Macy, Chad, Madison, Greyson (Ty), Jacques (Jania), Elizabeth, and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Sam, Leah, Ben, Hannah, Atlas and Jude; and brother, Dale Dorsey.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to all the wonderful care-givers of Hospice of Chattanooga-Georgia office for their care of Jenna these last few months.
Services to honor the life and memory of Jenna will be held on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 3 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Center for Cancer Support, Plaza Building, 2525 deSales Ave, Suite 307, Chattanooga, Tn. 37404.
