Wrape, Gladys Gertrude Durham

Gladys Gertrude Durham Wrape, 82, of Rossville, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. She was born in Sulphur Springs, Al. to the late Archable and Josephine Reeves Durham, lived in Rossville most of her life and was a member of Rossville Church of Christ. Gladys was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, who will be greatly missed. 

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard, Charles, Henry and Clarance Durham. 

Gladys is survived by her daughters, Shirley Byrd, Carol (Johnny) Stoker and Diane (David) Wooden; grandchildren, Monica Howerton, Jessica Williams, Nikki Byrd and Kristi Byrd; great-grandchildren, Deja Stoker, Chyna Howerton, Sasha Howerton, Christian Williams, Camdyn Williams, Charity Williams, Cason Williams and Caden Williams; and several nieces and nephews. 

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 14 at Rossville Church of Christ, with Minister Jack James officiating. Interment will follow in Sulphur Springs Cemetery, Al. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday and prior to leaving for the church on Friday.
