Rachel Lou Harris, 90, a lifetime resident of Lookout Valley, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019. 

She was a member of Lookout Valley Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Harris, brothers, Robert, Ervin, and Vernon “Buck” Sloan, sisters, Ara Stoudt, and Aza Suddarth.

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Alan) Melton, Donna (Jack) Honeycutt, Jimmy and Chuck Harris, grandchildren, Brett and JV Honeycutt, Amy (Tim) Artrip, James Harris and Heather Walker of Utah, several great-grandchilden and a host of nieces and nephews. Her great-grandchildren, Spencer and Jackson Artrip added joy to her daily life.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow the services at Lakewood Memory Gardens West. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
