Jane Mary Barrow, 88, of Soddy Daisy, entered heaven’s gates peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
Jane was of the Catholic faith and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and loved by many.
She was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Edna Burke, husband, Freeman Barrow, granddaughter, Jenifer and grandsons, Timothy and Robert. Jane is survived by sons, Gary Joffre, Roy (Gerry) Joffre and Kenneth Joffre Sr., daughters, Jane (Chuck) Barrow, Lisa Marie (Tim) Pody, Mary Anne Barrow and Nola (Terry) Jenkins as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Lane Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Lane Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
