Jerry DeWayne Jackson, Jr., 55, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, in Marietta, Georgia.

He graduated from Brainerd High School. He was employed with Papa John’s Production Department as a Production Operator II.  He most recently received employee of the month for October 2020.  He was of the Methodist faith and a member of Stanley United Methodist Church.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry DeWayne Jackson, Sr. and Mattie Laverne Ramsey Jackson; brother, Jeffery Jackson Sr. 

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly D. Tinsley Jackson; daughter, KaWanna Jackson; granddaughter, Ka’Mari Jackson; stepchildren, Tori Cook, Shelbi Mincey and Jaelen Cook; sisters, Vivian Jackson, Carla Jackson; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. 

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, at the funeral home. Following the visitation, a memorial balloon release and dinner fellowship will be held at Coolidge Park. Please wear a mask and be prepared to pay for parking.
