Ray Bethune, 69, of McDonald, Tennessee, passed on Monday, March 23, 2020. 

A resident of McDonald, he was employed as meat supervisor with Save A Lot Food Stores.  In his spare time he loved motorcycles and was a huge Braves fan and also a big Alabama fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Bethune and brother, James Bethune.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Bethune; son Heath Bethune (LaTonya); daughter, Heather Bethune; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers, David Bethune and Bill Bethune; several nieces and nephews.

Because of health concerns, the family will hold a private service and burial at a later date.

Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
