Samuel Scott
Samuel Scott, 79, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at his home surrounded by his immediate family.

He was a real estate appraiser and manager for Universal Life Insurance Company, a member and trustee of Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church, member of the Couples Club Los Gotoes, chairman of the Board at Weed and Seed and President of the Chattanooga Racqueteers Tennis Club Inc. where he received numerous awards and achievements. His enthusiasm and passion for life was contagious.

His compassionate and caring life would inspire others to aspire to emulate him in the way he: loved his beautiful wife of 51 years, gave his two children the world, gleamed while holding his grandchild, and cared dearly for his sisters and half-brothers. Sam loved animals, had a passion for soccer, and tennis, gave everyone a nickname, and he was one of the best friends anyone could ask for.

Sam was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Scott; grandmother, Rachel Wilson; father, Howard Boisseau Sr.; stepfather, Prince Hill; half-brother, Frankie Boisseau and nephew, Stephen Campbell.

Those left to cherish his precious memoires include his loving wife, Lana, Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Lana Michelle, Brookline, MA; son, Michael and his partner Kilee Reed, Chattanooga, TN; grandchild, Micah, Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Barbara Jones and Irma Campbell, Petersburg, VA; stepbrother, Jerome Winslow, Pocono, MD; half-brothers, Howard Boisseau Jr., Bert Boisseau, and Tony Boisseau, Richmond, VA; nieces, Beverly Williams Harris and Missy Campbell Whitlock, Petersburg, VA; pets, Athena, Simba, and Maya; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; close friends, Winfred Ragland, Curtis Johnson, Andre Johnson, Douglas and Evelyn Cooley, and many others.

Dad, Uncle Bubba, Big Scotty, you have won your last match, kicked your last goal, loved your family with all your heart, and made a million friends along the way. Now you can rest and watch over us.
