Dorothy Jones
Dorothy Juanita Jones, 91, of LaFayette, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
She was a member of East Armuchee Baptist Church for over 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sergeant Homer Jones; parents, Benjamin Beech and Lola Chapel Beech; sisters, Beulah Beech, Nell Morris, and Ina Palmer.
She is survived by her sons, Derrell (Sara) Jones and Billy Jones; grandchildren, Alisha (Eric) Bowman, Daniel (Amanda) Jones, Shannon (Christian)Bryant, Meagan (Jake Carnes) Jones, and Jeremy Jones; great grandchildren, Cooper, Brayden, Zoey, and Piper; sister, Louise Ketchum; brother, J.F. Beech; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at East Armuchee Baptist Church with Pastor David Pruitt and Jackie Broome officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at East Armuchee Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Eric Bowman, Don Jones, Daniel Jones, Jake Carnes, Christian Bryant, Christopher Pease, and Brian Jones.
