Retired From TVA After 28 Years

William Carroll Sivley, Jr., 76, of Soddy Daisy, passed away at home on March 15, 2020.

 

Carroll was born in Fort Oglethorpe. He retired from TVA after working for 28 years and was of the Church of God faith. He was a graduate of Kirkman Vocational Class of ’61. William loved the outdoors, especially bass fishing and going to his favorite restaurant Southern, to visit and fish talk with his friends. He was known for his quick wit, kindness and compassionate spirit. Carroll served two years in the Army and was honorably discharged.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Carroll Sivley, Sr. and Katherine Sivley.

 

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Anna Faye Sivley; daughters, Ginger Sanders and Melissa Poole; son, Audie Sivley; four sisters, Katie Yother, Harriett Jones, Pam Yancey and Teri Mullinax; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces.

 

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. 

 

A Celebration of Carroll’s Life service will follow at 4 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tim Ashley officiating. 

 

We respectfully request that "social distancing", wearing masks, and all CDC measures be adhered to at the funeral home.

 

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
