Jimmy Ray Swafford
Jimmy Ray Swafford, age 72, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in a local health care facility.
He was the son of the late Oscar Swafford and Mildred Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his wife Hazel R. Swafford.
Jimmy was a United States Marine Corp veteran.
He is survived by his daughter, Elwana Swafford; his step-daughter, Tonya Brewer; his son, Dameion Swafford; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister Hazel Slack and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Monday, May 17, at 1 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Rev. Floyd Boggess officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 17, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
