John Larry Vaughn
John Larry Vaughn was born in Decatur Alabama, on November 28, 1951. He departed this life July 19, 2021, in Chattanooga.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. Upon his discharge from military service, he was a truck driver until he retired. He spent his last days with his daughter.
He was preceded in death by his father William Vaughn; mother, Vera Vaughn; sister, Martha Johnson; and brother, Junior Vaughn.
He leaves to cherish his memories, four children, Lakesha (James) Sherrell, Chattanooga; Kantrell Byrd, Kavin Byrd, Jacie Vaughn, and Brandon Johnson, all of Decatur, Alabama; sister, Josie Vaughn, Decatur Alabama, brother-in-law, Ralph Johnson, Town Creek Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Services will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 10a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
