Steve Woody
Robert Steven “Steve” Woody, 74, of LaFayette, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Parker; and brothers, Paul, Silas, Ervin, and John Woody.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maxine Woody; son, Eddie (Angie) Wallace; grandchildren, Jeremy (Angel) Wallace, Haley Wallace, and Dakota Wallace; great grandchildren, Benjamin, Samara, Hunter, and Emily; brothers, Charles (Norma) Woody, and Reuben (Ganet) Woody; sisters-in-law, Imogene Woody and Gwen Woody; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Billy Black officiating.
Interment will be at LaFayette Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are Caleb Green, Eddie Wallace, Jeremy Wallace, Hunter Barrett, Brian Parkhill, and Matt Cooper.
Honorary pallbearers are Dakota Wallace and Terry Frasier.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
