Joan Sharp
Joan Patterson Sharp, 89, went home to be with Jesus on January 20, 2022.
Joan was a proud Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Joan was very artistic in many ways she played piano for several local churches (she also played the organ), she was very well known for her crafts and homemade jewelry, and she taught many children how to fish. If you spent any time with Joan, you knew three things she was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, she loved her family dearly and she could do anything you could imagine when it came to crafts. She used her skills for many years and leaves a beautiful legacy behind.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Johnson Sharp, mother, Jennie Louise Patterson, father, William Harlon Patterson, brother, Bill Patterson, sister, Elwanda Terrell, grandson, Brian N. Arp and granddaughter, Meagan Sharp Scott.
Joan is survived by her children, Rusty (Donna) Sharp, Billie Jo (Dennis) Arp, Cheryl (Larry) Vandergriff, Terri Sharp Pelfrey, her grandchildren, Alisan (Mike) Parnes, Jennie (Steve) Moreland, Jason (Kim) Arp, Amanda (Jonathan) Oswalt, Jeremy (Cara) Vandergriff, Greg (Miranda) Vandergriff, Brittany (Billy) Carter, Joshua (Nicki) Pelfrey, Cody (Ashley) Pelfrey, and 26 great-grandchildren.
