Evan Michael Stoops, 20, of Ootlewah, passed away September 29, 2022. He was born on Sept. 4, 2002 in Cleveland to Noah and Sondra (Whitaker) Stoops. Evan was a big hearted, happy, outgoing young man. He was respectful and trustworthy. A best friend and brother. His laugh was so wonderfully contagious and his smile lit up a room. He was of the Christian faith.

Evan is survived by his parents. Noah F. Stoops and Sondra A. Whitaker; grandparents, Michael & Karmna Whitaker and Terri Stoops; sibling, Sumer R. Stoops; niece, Mattilynn A. Teague; and many cousins that loved him dearly as a brother, Riley, Preston, Lydia, Dallas, Levi, Landon, Olivia, Michael, Katelyn, Robert, Dylan and Matthew. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Kevin Whitaker, Jonathan & Trina Whitaker and John and MeShel Miller; and others that love Evan; he leaves behind, Shanice, Lance, Logan, Macy and little Noah.

The family will receive friends at Companion Funeral Home - Cleveland on Friday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Oct. 7 at Companion Funeral Home - Cleveland. Memorials In Lieu of Flowers: cash app: $jbro1026.
