Shawntell Shackleford
Shawntell Shackleford, 55, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in Chattanooga.
She was born on March 29, 1967, in Chattanooga to Robert Williams, Sr. and Lucy Smith-Witcher.
She was a member of River of Life Church. She was a graduate of Howard High School.
Shawntell was supervisor at Knights Inn for 20 plus years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Williams, Sr., mother, Lucy Smith-Witcher; brother, Robert L Smith.
She leaves to cherish precious memories, husband, Loniel Shackleford; daughter, Shana Smith; stepdaughter, Deborah Shackleford; seven brothers, Bobby Harvey, Jr., Joe Louis Smith, Clarence Smith, Ernest Smith, Billy R. Smith (Dorothy), Cornell Watkins, and William Smith; five sisters, Patricia El-Amin, Deborah Dragg, Mary L. Smith, Syretta Norwood, and Juanita Tory; 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; special friends. Cheryl Walker, Barbara Shackleford, Samuel, Tahara, Percy, Jeanette, Fletcher, Terry Bonds, Samuel; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 2-6 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, in the chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
