Sylvia Rebecca Boley Daniel
Sylvia Rebecca Boley Daniel, 84, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, January 27, 2023.
Sylvia was born in Newport, TN, on September 21, 1938, the daughter of the late Charles Anderson Boley and Violet Watts Boley and older sister to the late Mary Ann (Art) Clements. She was a member of the Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church. Sylvia was a devout Seventh-day Adventist Christian and enjoyed studying her Bible and playing hymns on piano. She enjoyed cooking for and spending time with family and friends for whom she cared deeply. After graduating Fletcher Academy she attended Madison College. She was a happy homemaker, bookkeeper to Hamilton Automotive, and very loving grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Troy Franklin Daniel to whom she was married for 57 years and wed on August 26, 1965; two sons, Mike (Jennifer) Daniel and Charles (Jan) Daniel; four grandchildren, Kristie (Jared) Amos, Ceejay (Ashley) Daniel, Brittany Daniel, and Kayley Daniel; and seven great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Daniel, Lyric Daniel, Jackson Daniel, Savannah Harper, Emma Amos, Julia Pierce, Lacey Amos, and Callie Amos.
