Graduate Of Ridgeland High School Was An Amazing Cook

Collin Crane, 26, of Rossville, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at his home.

Collin had lived most of his life in Rossville and was a 2015 graduate of Ridgeland High School and grew up in Rossville Church of Christ. Collin played rec league football in Rossville, took Jujitsu at Chet Blaylock’s Gym, and he loved to box. Collin was extremely smart, enjoyed watching documentaries, and he was an amazing encourager. He loved to make music, was an amazing cook, and an avid Tennessee Vol fan. Many people have eaten his food as he was a cook at Park Place Restaurant throughout the years. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his dad, David Crane; grandmother, Nyleve Crane; and aunt, Nancy Crane.

Survivors include his sisters, Jordan Crane and Lauren (Chris) Wenger; niece, Kaia Coburn; nephew, Isaiah Wenger; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 4 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
