Kenneth Ralph Dagnan (Ken), 66, of Whiteside, Tn., passed away at his home surrounded by family on February 22, 2024.

Ken was born in Chattanooga, Tn., grew up in Whiteside, Tn. and met his wife of 45 years in Chattanooga. Ken worked in hosiery manufacturing as a Knitting repair technician for most of his career. He was first and foremost a family man and took great joy in the time he spent with his beautiful wife, children and grandchildren. He was always working, even when not at work. He enjoyed being outdoors more than anything, and most of this time was spent working on projects for his wife.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Dagnan; brothers, Jimmy Dagnan, Jackie Dagnan Jr; and eldest grandson, Justin Dagnan.

Ken is survived by his wife, Debra; children, Kenneth R. (Robin) Dagnan II and Jennifer L. (Justin)O’Brien; mother, Janie Dagnan; sisters, Shirley Williams and Ruby Downer; brother, Tony Dagnan; and grandchildren, Victoria Weaver, Ember (Aubree)Weaver, Hawk Weaver, Warren Dagnan, Jackson Dagnan, Emily Harvey, Andrew Dagnan, and Ansley Dagnan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Feb. 24, at Ryan Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., on Feb. 25, in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or charity of your choosing in the name of Ken Dagnan. Interment will follow in Hooker Cemetery, Wildwood, Ga.
