Karen Raye Nix, 69, of Jasper, Tennessee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 27, 2024, after a courageous battle with many illnesses.

She was born in Chattanooga on Nov. 26, 1954, and lived in Red Bank for most of her life. She was a dedicated employee of CBL and Associates for over 22 years and worked as a hostess for Olive Garden Italian Restaurant before retiring.

Karen was a strong woman of faith who loved her Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart. She loved worshipping and attending church services. She was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church for many years and attended Battlefield Center of Life church before the onset of illness.

She had a great love for all animals, especially dogs, horses, and hummingbirds. She also loved scary movies and stories about Bigfoot. She was a sweet and loving woman with a fun spirit and a generous heart. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Ernest Osborne and Elizabeth Ruth Hodges.

Survivors include her one daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Jason Williams, of Jasper; one sister, Connie E. Holcomb (Gary R. Holcomb, deceased) of LaFayette; one niece, Constance Jeffress, of Red Bank; and several cousins.

A private memorial service for the family will be held with Pastor Terry Roberson officiating at Rogers Funeral Home, Jasper Chapel, 21 East Fifth Street, Jasper, Tn. 37347, 423 942-2682.
