Elsie Perry Gallaher
With deepest sorrow, we say goodbye to Elsie Perry Gallaher who passed away on January 8, 2025.

Born on March 9, 1927, in Pikeville, Tn., she lived the majority of her life in Chattanooga with her loving husband of 67 years, Bennie R. Gallaher, who preceded her in death in 2022.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening and traveling, but will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, love for her family, and her heartfelt support and compassion she shared as a lecturer with Weight Watchers.

She was a longtime member of Red Bank Church of Christ, where her greatest joy was participating in the card ministry offering words of encouragement and comfort to others.

She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Judy (Dick) Brown, her brother Mr. Ernie (Sandy) Perry, her daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Mike Nami, Leca and David Bailey, and her grandchildren, Adam Nami and Layla Nami.

No service will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Red Bank Church of Christ or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
