Helen G. Cross, 71, of Cleveland died on Sunday, January 19, 2024, in Chattanooga.
She was born on May 12, 1953, in Albany, Ky., to the late Clarence Edward and Nellie Gray Cash Cross.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Ray Cross and Anthony Dale” Tony” Cross, sister, Carolyn Lambert.
She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in McDonald. She attended Ringgold High School.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Norman Cross, children, April (Jackie) Flowers, Sandra (Brian Harris) Ricky Shawn Cross, and Daniel Joseph (Kim) Cross, brother, Eddie Kay Cross, sisters, Phyllis Bell and Marilyn Gladden, six grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:30 at Thursday with Sister Karen Cross officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
