Charlotte Harris, 78, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on February 11, 2025, at Hospice Care Center.

Charlotte was a hairdresser in Chattanooga since 1966. She was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church.

She loved spending time at the beach and taking long drives through the mountains, and an avid bird watcher. She also enjoyed working in her yard. She was a very passionate and enthusiastic lady, who will be fondly remembered.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wonnie Webster Benefield and mother, Verdie Marie Benefield, brothers, Bob Benefield, Doug Benefield, and Larry Benefield

She is survived by her husband Llyod Harris, children Donna Schmitt and son in law Larry Schmitt and Eric Tipton; grandchildren, Brandon Schmitt and wife, Kristen Schmitt and Cameron Schmitt and partner Justin McArthur; great-grandchildren, Blakey and Bennett Schmitt; sister, Rebecca Coffman, and brother-in-law, Ron Coffman, and sister-in-law, Millie Benefield and several nieces and nephew.
