Virginia Woody Pierce, 93, of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2020.  

She was of the Baptist faith and the daughter of the late Oliver and Minnie Woody.  She loved religious music, reading, flowers and writing, but most of all she loved her family dearly.

She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Clinton Edward Palmer Sr. and J.C. Pierce, sons, Lt. Col. Clinton Edward Palmer Jr., Dennis James Palmer and 5 siblings

Virginia is survived by her son, Kenny (Shani) Palmer, sister-in-law, Kathy Palmer, grandchildren, Christopher (George) Palmer, Lindsey (Jason) Barnette, great-grandchildren, Aimee Barnette, Nathan Barnette. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, in the funeral home chapel.

Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
