George Raymond Brown
George Raymond Brown, 73, of Soddy Daisy, passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, March 20, 2023, with family by his side.
George is survived by his wife, Kathryn Brown, son, Trevor (Haley) Brown, and daughter, Kellie (Tim) Cummings. George also leaves behind one grandchild, Garrett Trevor Brown, and sister, Margaret (Bob) Duggan of Dunlap, as well as many nieces and nephews.
George retired from Galaxy Carpet Mills in Chatsworth, Ga., and spent the remainder of his life as an avid sportsman with his son and many dear friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, from 4-8 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home. Reverend John Tudor will officiate a graveside service on Friday, March 24, at 1:30 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George’s name are welcomed to Dementia Society of America at P.O. Box 600 Doylestown, Pa. 18901 or Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N Michigan Ave., Fl. 17 Chicago, Il. 60601.
