Robert Kyle "Bobby" Snyder was born on December 24, 1957, in Asheville, North Carolina. He passed away at his home March 15, 2025, in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee.

Bobby dedicated over 45 years to the florist industry, bringing a level of dedication, care, and commitment to his work for Tennessee Wholesale Florist. Outside of his career, Bobby loved being around his family and friends. He was a devoted husband and father who loved his family vacations. He attended services at Dallas Bay Baptist Church, where he was a member.

Known for his quick wit and infectious humor, Bobby had a remarkable ability to bring laughter to any conversation. Whether sharing a joke or delivering an unexpected quip with a straight face, he kept those around him smiling and guessing. He liked watching all sports and was an avid fan of Alabama Football/Basketball while rooting against anything the Tennessee Vols were playing in. Bobby attended Hixson High School where he was a natural athlete in both football and baseball. Those God given abilities assisted him in playing collegiate baseball at Chattanooga State Community College. His lighthearted spirit and love for making others laugh will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Robert K (Bob) Snyder and grandparents, Jessie and Earl (Squirrelly) Maynor.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Susan Snyder, his mother, Barbra Anderson and his sons, Matt and Corey,(Shana) Aunt Ann Nichols, his brother, John Snyder,(Kim) along with Bobby’s grandchildren, Justice, Silas, Jason, and Gracie, his nieces and nephews, Jason, Amanda, Erica, Holly, Dylan, and Londyn, along with many cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held on March 20, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. with funeral service proceeding at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, located in Soddy Daisy, followed by burial at Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Highway 153.

May Bobby’s memory continue to bring warmth and laughter to those who were fortunate enough to know him.
