Albert Briton Watson, 96, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

He was a member of Middle Valley Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He loved his family, friends, and Tennessee Volunteer football.

Ab was the last of 13 siblings.

He worked and retired from Roadway Express after 30 years of service.

Ab was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Dollie Watson.

He is survived by two sons, David (Geney) Watson and Gary (Terri) Watson; four grandchildren, Britt (Leah) Watson, Tiffany (Danny) Wade, Kasie (Brice) Johnson, and Joseph Watson; and five great-grandchildren, Knox and Kori Johnson, Danger, Lizzy and Phoenix Wade.

Funeral services for Ab will be held on Tuesday, April 22, at 1 p.m. in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Britt Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until service time at North Chapel.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
